My Top Silver Pick for 2012

"Established in 2004, Silver Wheaton has quickly positioned itself as the largest metals streaming company in the world. The company currently has fourteen silver purchase agreements and two precious metals agreements where, in exchange for an upfront payment, it has the right to purchase all or a portion of the silver" (www.silverwheaton.com).

Who Said Gold Doesn't Pay a Dividend?

This gold stock pays it MONTHLY!  It is my #1 stock to own in 2012.

With my forecasted gold price at $2,100 - $2,500 for 2012, Franco Nevada could be trading in the $60-$70 range in 2012. With current gold prices at $1600, I believe they are still worth more than the current $38 price, and value the shares at over $50.

In my opinion, Franco is much more undervalued then their major competitor, Royal Gold, and they have a lot more room to grow and do more deals in the near future.

According to the fund summary: "The Investment seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, which corresond to the inverse (opposite) of the daily performance of the DOW Jones US Financial SM Index. The fund invests in derivatives that Proshare Advisors believe should have similar daily returns inverse of the index. It typically invests the rest of the assets in money market instruments. Do You Know What An Inverse ETF is?

Inverse ETF's could be huge in 2012.

You can make money in any market - besides buying a stock you can SHORT a Stock. But shorting stocks is not exactly easy and you have to know what you are doing. However, buying an Inverse ETF fund is the next best thing.

I believe that we are in for a roller coaster of a ride in 2012...

(PLEASE READ): Please don't take this as an investment recommendation or personal advice. Please do your own due dilligence and read our disclaimer before making any investment decisions!

MY Top Pick - SNDXF - Sandstorm Gold.

As you can see, I am clearly in favor of the gold/silver junior mining stocks and warrants. I do hold positions in non-PM stocks in my other portfolio (mainly mid-cap dividend stocks) so this is just one portfolio but these are my main positions and the portfolio I expect to outperform considerably over the next couple of years. Some of these equities are extremely undervalued and I am hoping the market finally pays some attention to them. If you want more info. on individual positions feel free to comment below and I'd be happy to tell you more.

My Top Mutual Fund Pick for 2012

I've scoured all the mutual funds available to invest in and I am convinced that one mutual fund will outperform all the rest in 2012: the Tocqueville Gold Fund.
 Yahoo!Finance

The fund is comprised of gold stocks, but physical gold itself, which I expect to rise to $2,500 in 2012.  Political chaos in Europe (and even here in the US) will continue, and so will rising inflation, plus increased concern over the US national debt, which is now over $15 trillion and 100 percent of our GDP.

Check out the full story here.

Earning a Second Income is Important

Unfortunately for many, one source of income is just not enough. Therefore you should consider picking up a second side job. I've listed some examples in this post. Keep in mind you can always do something you love as a second job - it doesn't have to be "work"!

For example, writing is one of my passions, and I just started blogging for InfoBarrel. I'm new so I haven't made any money yet, but you have to give it time. If you write about something you are passionate about, and if you write articles that will be useful to people, I think the money will follow. Some people on the site are making upwards of $2,000 a month!

My Top Books on Gold and Silver Investing

There are a bunch of books out there on personal finance, money, investing, and of course, gold and silver investing. It can certainly be a daunting task to find a good starting point.

So I hope I can help you out here. I have read almost every gold and silver investing book out there, and here are what I consider to be my top picks.
Yup, this is on the list!

What is Silver and Why You Should Be Buying it!

There is a reason Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad,  has dubbed silver "the best opportunity I have ever seen."

Today is Dec. 14, 2011, with one of the biggest one-day drops in the silver price in recent memory. Silver is back down under $29.

The price of silver is VERY volatile, so investing in this metal is not for the faint of heart. I have been a buyer since it was in the low-20's, only to watch the price then shot up to $49, only to crash down...

*Despite the big drop today, over the long-term I STILL believe Silver could be worth well over $250!

Silver is no doubt one of the most interesting investments out there.

The Top 5 Investing Books Ever Written

Here is my list for the top five books on investing and money ever written. I've read nearly every book on the subject and came up with this list.

I'm sure many out there may disagree with the selections, and probably the order, maybe there is a book or two on the list you have not read and will check out.

If you think I really messed up and left one out, please comment!

Cheers,

Steve

What number is this book on the list?
